Drivelock HDD Bay Password - Cracked/Resolved

Q. my laptop does not start/boot and asks for HDD Bay Password?

Q. what is HDD Bay Password ?

If your laptop/pc asks for "Drivelock HDD Bay Password" then do :

Switch off your laptop/computer => 1st try removing the dvd/cd rom/writer drive => switch on your laptop/pc.

if your computer/laptop starts working => then turn it off => connect the drive back properly => turn on the pc/laptop => if it shows "Drivelock HDD Bay Password" then probably u need to replace the cd/dvd drive.

if the above method fails then check the connections of the different drives and components.

OR

try removing components one by one and trying if it works

NOTE: machine will not ask for the Drivelock password unless it's been set to do that, anyone else with this problem should perhaps start removing non-essential components to see if it helps
